Obingwa Chairmaship/Councilorship Election: PDP pilots extraction of electorial materials.

The level of tension within Obingwa LGA in Abia State has been gaining great weight as each day adds to meet the

election date. Political Parties campaigning and employing different strategies to get their candidates win the election

scheduled for 21st December, 2016.

Violence has been kept to its lowest degree through the hard word of the peace keeping body established within wards in

the LGA.
Yet some political hoodlums has gone far with their strategies.
As expected, electorial materials arrived Obingwa LGA later in the evening of 20th December, 2016 against the election

holding the next day being 21st. Credits to INEC for making the materials available as scheduled.
After dispatching materials to WARDS, it has been reported that great count of ballot papers is missing.

According to reports in Obingwa Ward 5, after confirmation of the original number of ballot papers and other materials,

Some political warlords within the ward from PDP conived with who so ever, making deals and took to their custody

good number of ballot papers from each Polling Unit in WARD 5.
As earlier reported in a previous date, it has been brought to limelight that the electorial process is at the fear of being

faulted.

Hence, other parties at whose disadvantage this exploit is being carried out has raised great alarm. The call for open, free

and fare election is at its high to ensure a serene exercise.
